Study: 45% of Businesses Saw Ranking Changes From Mobile-Friendly Update by Chris Crum

“45% of businesses claimed they had experienced changes to their rankings or traffic as a result of the update, and 41% of those were concerned that they had seen a drop in rankings by at least three places and had noticed a drop in traffic as a result.”

This study from Koozai which surveyed 2000 small- and medium-sized businesses has a couple important statistics about the impact of Google’s “Mobilegeddon” on search results. There are conflicting reports about the extent of the impact of the update, but make sure to check out this article and stay alert for any changes in your site’s rankings.
