What does social media marketing look like in 2015?
As climbing the organic search ladder becomes an increasingly difficult job for brands everywhere, the influence of social media in marketing gets stronger by the day. But which networks are the most popular and how can marketers use them to reach a wider audience?
These questions and more are answered in the latest infographic from content marketing agency JBH – in collaboration with Smart Insights and Similarweb – which looks at the latest trends in social media and identifies the networks rising and falling as well as the best places for your brand to be seen.
New marketing features
The infographic identifies a few of the key changes affecting marketing on the major networks, for example, Facebook’s removal of a charge for likes and the changes made to it’s Newsfeed visibility.
Equally influential is Twitter’s new ability to stream live broadcast and recording service Periscope and Instagram’s inclusion of Carousel Ads, which feature URLs and photos that can be swiped to reveal more information.
Other major innovations highlighted in JBH‘s infographic include Pinterest’s Buyable Pins going live and LinkedIn’s Lead Accelerator, which offers marketers the ability to target and convert specific users.
